Well, we did it.
Turn out was low, but with 65% of the vote it's clear that Ward 3 residents support a progressive platform oriented towards public transportation, affordable housing, living wages, a meaningful homelessness strategy, a review of the tax structure, respect for built heritage, and infrastructure repair. None of this would have been possible without support from friends, volunteers, and community members who helped me along the way. It's tough to promise outcomes but what I can guarantee is that I will work with the community to advance issues at city council. In the coming weeks I'll release my plan for Community Advisor Panels, regular community council meetings in the Ward, and my plan for the next four years. Again, thank you for the support and I look forward to serving Ward 3 in the years ahead.
